IBC Weekly Prayer Focus

This week, our weekly prayer focus will be to ask the Lord how you might assist the church in this season. Can I share a kind word with the Pastor Search Team? Could I volunteer as an usher? Serve in the nursery or as a Sunday School teacher? Possibly be a volunteer for VBS? Reach out to someone in the church to spend time with over a meal or coffee? How can I love and serve the church body well?

1 John 3:18 “Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.”

Susie Hampson’s Celebration of Life

Dear IBC Family, the Celebration of Life service for Susie Hampson will be Saturday, June 20, at 10 am. This will be a time of celebration, reflection, and thanking the Lord for our dear sister in the Lord and the beautiful life she lived in honor of our heavenly Father.

Taco Salads

Taco salads will be served at Susie Hampson’s Celebration of Life ceremony at the request of her family. As of right now, we still need several more people to sign up to provide salads for 12 to 15 people.

A classic taco salad typically features a crisp lettuce base loaded with seasoned ground beef (or chicken or neither, shredded cheese, diced tomatoes, black beans, and crunchy tortilla chips. It is then dressed with a mix of salsa, sour cream, or creamy dressings like Catalina or ranch.

If you have your own version of a taco salad that would be fine.

Even if didn’t know Susie but could provide a salad, that would be a special way to serve the family and all that Susie did for IBC.

Last Day of the 2026 Baby Bottle Boomerang

Reminder: baby bottles are due today. Please bring them to the church office during business hours. Donations can be made online as well for your convenience; see Barbara Maring for details. All proceeds will go directly to Birth Choice Services of Hemet, a Bible-based crisis pregnancy ministry. Thank you!

Hume Lake Retreat

Hi IBC Family, our youth group is heading to Hume Lake on Sunday, June 14th! We would greatly appreciate your prayers for our students and leadership team during this impactful week.

Please join us in praying for:

Our Students: Pray that believers grow deeper in their love for Jesus, and that those who do not yet know Him will accept Him as their Savior.

Our Leaders: Pray for renewed energy, clear discernment, and spiritual wisdom as they guide and mentor the youth.

We are incredibly thankful for everyone who supported our fundraisers to help these kids get to camp. Thank you for being our prayer warriors!

With love, IBC Youth Leaders

Church Office Request Form

If you are in need of something from the church office, there is now a Church Office Request Form available for you to use. On Sunday mornings, Clint, Maria, and Kelly are focused on their various responsibilities. If you need to pass on a request or information to them, please fill out the Church Office Request Form rather than speaking to them directly on Sunday mornings. They are available on the wall above the offering box in the foyer. After you have filled it out, please place it in the offering box. You are also free to contact them either in person or by phone during their regular church office hours. Thank you for your cooperation in helping to make their responsibilities more efficient.

Receipt Envelope

If you are in need of reimbursement for items that you have purchased for the church, there is now a Receipt Envelope available for you to turn your receipts in on Sunday mornings. The envelopes are above the offering box located in the foyer. Please fill out the envelope and place it in the offering box. You may also turn in your receipts to Maria at the church office during her regular office hours. Thank you.
