Announcements

From our message last week in Hebrews 5, may we draw together as a church body, calling on the name of our Lord to grow us and mature us in our faith, that we would remain faithful as we wait on Him in all things.

Hebrews 5:14 “But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil.”

Children’s Ministry-VBS

Registration is open for Vacation Bible School 2026, which will be held July 20th-23rd here at IBC from 5:30-8:00!

This summer, kids will find answers to the question, “Is there a God who cares?” by examining Psalm 23 while traveling through the Irish countryside. Please take a registration flyer from the foyer and take one for a friend or neighbor, too!

Ushers Needed

We have an urgent need for ushers for the month of June over 3 different Sundays. If you would be able to fill in for one of these or perhaps consider becoming a full-time usher, please contact Terri French.

Enlarging God’s Kingdom

Birth Choice of Heme

Prayer & Financial Support

Four years ago, on June 24, the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision overturned Roe v. Wade, holding that abortion policy should be decided through the democratic process rather than imposed by the courts.  Yet–we all recognize–Dobbs did not end the work.

Remarkably, on the anniversary of the Dobbs decision, Heartbeat International will stand in a California courtroom as opening arguments begin in a landmark trial that could shape the future of pregnancy help across America.

There’s far more at stake than one organization. This case, The People of the State of California v. Heartbeat International & RealOptions, speaks to whether a state can punish a nonprofit for simply telling a woman that progesterone may reverse the effects of mifepristone, the first pill in the abortion drug regimen, and help a woman continue her pregnancy to term.

Will you join us in praying this week?

Please pray:

· For wisdom, clarity, and courage for our legal team as they present opening arguments.

· For the court, that truth and justice would prevail.

· For the mothers who have courageously shared their stories publicly.

· For our communications team, as we engage the media and help elevate the voices of the women served through Abortion Pill Reversal.

· For peace and strength for everyone representing Heartbeat International and RealOptions throughout the trial spanning over a month in California.

Above all, that God would be glorified and that this case would protect women’s access to truthful information and compassionate care.

Thank you for standing with us in prayer. We are confident that God is at work, and we trust Him with the outcome.

With gratitude,

Jor-El Godsey, President of Heartbeat International
